Will is a real estate and business lawyer who thrives working directly with his clients and helping them navigate the legal steps needed to reach their objectives.

Will’s corporate practice is focused on mergers & acquisitions. Will acts as a trusted advisor for asset and share transactions with many small and medium size businesses from a range of sectors including construction, technology, manufacturing and consumer services. From risk assessment and due diligence, to negotiating, drafting and closing, Will takes an active role at each stage of the transaction to ensure his clients’ goals are attained and their best interests protected. Will’s corporate practice also include advising companies on incorporations and business structures, corporate re-organizations, shareholder and partnership agreements, joint venture agreements, various consulting and service agreements, and other commercial contracts.

Prior to law school, Will worked as a broker in the commercial real estate sector and for a large developer and landlord. His real estate clients now benefit from Will’s extensive knowledge of the market and real estate industry. His work in commercial real estate includes negotiating on behalf of tenants and landlords on their leases and advising on commercial real estate investments.

Will also advises home buyers and sellers on their real estate transactions. He has years of experience helping clients new to real estate and he works hard to anticipate and address their needs and concerns.

Will has been a coach with the Capital City Condors, the world’s largest adapted/special hockey team, for many years and he currently serves on the Board of the Royal Ottawa Young Professionals Network. He also co-founded the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law annual Ottawa Law Classic charity hockey game.
