Mitchell Kitagawa

Mitch has represented insurers at all levels of Court in Ontario.

Mitchell Kitagawa's insurance litigation practice focuses on the defence of property, personal injury, casualty and professional negligence matters as well as prosecuting subrogated claims on behalf of insurers. He is a regular speaker at insurance industry conferences and has served as a judge for the trial advocacy course at the University of Ottawa and conducted mock trials for public school children. He organizes the firm's civil legal pro-bono contributions and an annual in house food bank drive. He has been involved in a number of charitable activities including Special Olympic events, Law Day Run, and he is a past President of the Ottawa Carleton Immigrant Services Organization. In 2004, Mitch was awarded the Regional Senior Justice Award.
