Since joining the firm in 2008 Lisa has been actively involved in dozens of estate administrations ranging from routine matters to complex, multi-jurisdictional estates.

Lisa's practice is focussed on estate planning and estate administration. Since joining the firm in 2008 she has been actively involved in dozens of estate administrations ranging from routine matters to complex, multi-jurisdictional estates. As a member of the Business Group, Lisa is also actively involved in a wide range of corporate and real estate matters.

For many of the estate executors who turn to Lisa for assistance the role of trustee can be time consuming, confusing and bureaucratic. From identifying the beneficiaries and assets of the estate to liaising with the Courts, CRA, financial institutions and insurance companies, her clients know she will work diligently with them to execute the wishes of the deceased. Lisa's unique insights into the challenges of administering a complex estate also allows her to assist clients with the preparation of estate plans that accurately reflects their wishes and which reduce the chances of a disputes or confusion occurring amongst the beneficiaries.

Lisa completed her law degree in her native Uganda and her Masters in Law at Queen's University. While working at Kelly Santini as a Law Clerk she completed her international accreditation courses at the University of Ottawa and was called to the Bar in 2012. When not in the office, Lisa can often be found pursuing some of her favourite outdoor pursuits including swimming, running and biking.
