Kelly Sample

As a member of the New York state Bar, Kelly regularly advises clients on cross-border matters.

Kelly’s practice focuses on business law, commercial real estate and development work  and in estate/trust planning for owner-managers. Kelly represents a variety of businesses on an ongoing basis and has worked extensively on business law issues in the aviation industry and the sports and recreation sectors. Her secret level security clearance allows her to act on sensitive procurement and other matters involving the Canadian Federal Government.

Kelly is currently the firm’s Managing Partner, overseeing all aspects of business, financial and human resource activities. She is a director and officer of several private companies and a trustee of a pension plan.  She also taught business law at the Algonquin College School of Business and for the Ontario Bar Admission course.

In 2007 Kelly was selected as one of Ottawa’s Forty Under 40 by the Ottawa Business Journal and in 2008 Ottawa Life magazine profiled Kelly as one of its Top 50 People in the Capital. Carleton University has named Kelly as one of its Great Grads.
