Mitch Kitagawa Elected as Law Society Bencher

Congratulations to Mitch Kitagawa on his election as the Regional Bencher for East Region of the Law Society of Ontario (LSO). The LSO governs Ontario’s lawyers and paralegals in the public interest by ensuring that the people of Ontario are served by lawyers and paralegals who meet high standards of learning, competence and professional conduct. The Law Society is governed by a board of directors, who are known as benchers. Benchers are elected by their peers to four-year terms. Mitch ran as part of the Good Governance Coalition with the goal of increasing the diversity of voices heard within the LSO and improving access to justice for Ontarians.
