29th annual conference of the Association of French Speaking Jurists of Ontario (AJEFO)
Kelly SantiniLLP is proud to sponsor the 29th annual conference of the Association of French Speaking Jurists of Ontario (AJEFO). The AJEFO conference will take place from August 14th to the 17th in Quebec City. Kelly SantiniLLP is also happy to announce that three of its associates, Lisa Langevin, Chantal Marchese and Samantha Iturregui, will join other French speaking jurists from across the province at this year’s annual AJEFO conference.

The Board of Directors at The Twin Elm Rugby Park
Kelly SantiniLLP would like to congratulate Michael Abrams on his recent appointment to the Board of Directors at The Twin Elm Rugby Park. The Twin Elm Rugby Park is situated in South Nepean, and is home to many clubs from across Eastern Ontario & Quebec, including Michael’s team, the Ottawa Indians Rugby Football Club, for whom Michael was named Most Valuable player for the ’07 season. The Park has also hosted many international rugby fixtures, including the 2008 Churchill Cup.
In addition to rugby, the park is also home to other sports such as soccer, lacrosse, ultimate Frisbee, & volleyball making it a busy hub of activity, throughout the summer. Congratulations Michael!

Nepean Sailing Club Board of Directors
Kelly SantiniLLP congratulates Allison Klymyshyn on being elected to the Board of Directors of the Nepean Sailing Club, at its last annual general meeting, and on being further appointed to act as Secretary of the Club. The NSC is a family-oriented, volunteer based organization dedicated to promoting and encouraging active participation by members and the general public in the sport of sailing and recreational boating.
Allison’s work in corporate governance for the non-profit NSC continues the firm’s long-standing commitment to actively supporting the needs of the local community through volunteering.

Welcome to André Munroe
Kelly SantiniLLP is pleased to welcome André Munroe as associate in the firm’s Business Law Group.
In addition to a law degree from the University of Ottawa Law School, André has a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics and a Master of Arts in Human Kinetics and Sports Administration. André will be practicing business and real estate law, with a particular emphasis on sports law.
André represents clients in both French and English.

Kelly SantiniLLP is proud to announce that Mark Friedman joined the firm’s partnership on January 1, 2008. Mark practices in the area of civil litigation, with an emphasis on insurance defense law. Prior to joining Kelly SantiniLLP , Mark worked for a national insurer, giving him unique insight into the needs of the firm’s clients. Mark will continue as the firm’s articling principal.

Ottawa Sports Hall of Fame Induction Evening
Kelly SantiniLLP is proud to be a sponsor of the Ottawa Sports Hall of Fame Induction Evening to be held on January 11, 2008 and extends its congratulations to the inductees Mike Nemesvary, Bob Rathwell and Steve Yzerman. The firm’’s sponsorship of the event was organized by Larry Kelly, who acted as Mr. Yzerman’’s agent during his NHL playing career.
The Ottawa Sports Hall of Fame recognizes persons and teams that by their achievements in, or contributions to, any field of sport or athletic endeavor have brought special fame to the City of Ottawa.
